Buy an extended warranty voucher on Takealot by clicking the Buy Extended Warranty tab on the top right of the page. The cost of the policy will be included in your payment at checkout. This is a once-off payment.

This insurance offers you an extended warranty on electronic products. The extended warranty takes effect when your manufacturer’s warranty ends and is valid for 12 months.

Electronic products that are covered under this policy:

  • Movable electronics
  • Stationary electronics
  • Home appliances
  • PC components

Any damage that is not due to manufacturing or material defects, faulty construction or wiring design and assembly errors, are not covered under this policy.

You’ll find your 14-digit voucher code in the email you received 24 hours after the purchase.

The extended warranty can only be purchased while the existing manufacturers warranty is still active and not after it has expired.
